🎓 Training Activity 3: The "De-Focusing Tip': Giving your Eyes a Break.

Welcome!

Focusing happens through the eyes and affects our entire body into a tense and narrow state. While this is also an alert and highly productive state that can be highly satisfying, it is important to modulate and allow a flow between ease and tension. Resting the eyes every once in a while is a great relief for the whole system and it is like clicking the 'refresh button' for your nerves and mind.

Apply your knowledge!

Remember to rest your eyes whenever your brain is feeling foggy and unclear or you are feeling tired and overwhelmed. In addition to the approach presented in the video, you can put your elbows on the desk and rest your face in your hands, covering your eyes and letting the weight of your head be supported forward in your own hands. Stay there as long as feels good and notice the release of tension down the neck and shoulders as your hand - with elbows on the table - take the weight off your head. Such a relief... Enjoy by taking a few deep breaths in that restful place.
