Apply your knowledge!

Now you have a grasp on the basics. It's time to put your knowledge into practice πŸ’ͺ🏽

  1. Decide how advocacy fits into your accelerator's overall communications strategy.

  2. Set 3 Advocacy Goals: integrate advocacy into the communications and operational strategy of the accelerator. Make sure you use SMART goals (Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, and Time-Bound)!

Use the worksheet from the previous two activities to guide your strategy.

Leveraging your Universal Skills

While helping your team improve in this Team Development area, you can simultaneously be leveraging and enhancing your Universal Skills & Character Strengths. To do that, go to your Team Growth board to review your Universal Skills & Character Strengths results and priorities, and then see how you can adapt this team growth activity to also help you improve your individual skills.
